نبذة

باحث وأكاديمي متخصص في علم الحشرات والمكافحة الحيوية، وله خبرة في البحث العلمي والعمل الجامعي. عمل في الهيئة العامة للبحوث العلمية الزراعية، في مركز بحوث حلب، من عام 1994 حتى عام 2015، ثم التحق بجامعة إدلب عام 2017، وعُيّن فيها عام 2018. ومنذ العام الدراسي 2024–2025، يعمل معارًا إلى جامعة الشمال الخاصة.
تركز أبحاثه على الآفات الزراعية وسبل مكافحتها، ولا سيما حشرة السونة التي تصيب القمح، وطفيلاتها ومسببات الأمراض الفطرية التي يمكن توظيفها في المكافحة الحيوية. كما تناولت أعماله الطفيليات الحشرية وآفات محاصيل أخرى، وأسهمت في دعم فهم خصائص هذه الآفات وسبل الحد من أضرارها.
